Ways to style the classic white shirt part two

Hello and welcome to my latest blog, you have probably guessed from the title that this is part two of my white shirt blog. If you missed part one you can find it here. There I give you details of my white shirt and some alternative for you to have a look at.

Let’s get straight on to the styling…..

Outfit four

First up I have layered the shirt underneath a jumper for a casual look that I have then dressed up with heels and leather leggings!

Ok let’s start with the cream jumper I think this tones really well with the white shirt. This is from H&M last winter I think and it has a nice wide off the shoulder neckline that I think works with the shirt underneath. I have found a similar one on the Superdry website, which is also currently on sale.

My leather look leggings are my go to ones that I have mentioned in previous blogs, I like them as I think the detail on the knee makes them a little different. New Look still have them in stock and they are currently in the sale.

Next up I have added some light brown to the outfit with my handbag and shoe combo. The satchel is from ASOS last year. I have seen this alternative on the Next page that I think would work well. Lastly my shoes, I can’t actually remember where I picked these ones up but I have found these on Dune that are a really good match and in the sale!

Next I have done a more traditional white shirt look, going formal with a black suit.

My necklace is actually a Christmas present from years ago but it is still one of my go to necklaces! I have found this beautiful Art Deco style option from Gemondo that has a similar look.

My jacket is a H&M sale purchase, it has a jacquard weave pattern and is a fitted style giving it a bit of a unique look I think! Luckily it is still in stock as I think I would have struggled to find a similar one for you!

The trousers are from Zara but unfortunately out of stock now or I just can’t find them on the Zara website, I do find searching on there a minefield! Anyways I struggled to find ones with white dots like mine so I have gone for some pinstripe ones from ASOS that I think would give a similar look.

My handbag is a recent Zara sale purchase that is actually still in stock…quick!! I was looking for a black handbag as I didn’t actually have a decent one, but I wanted one with a bit of an edge, hence the shearling detail! I love it but my boyfriend was confused by it 😂.

Lastly my sandals are H&M ones that I have wore lots in my blogs, so this week I have found an alternative pair that are genuine leather from &OtherStories, a little more pricey but as I say they are leather.

Outfit six

For the last outfit I have done a full night out look by tying the shirt up and teaming it with a bralette.

Let’s start with the bralette , this is actually a current season Zara one that is still in stock, linked here. They have it in other colours and also lots of similar ones at the bottom of the page.

My jeans are also high waist ones from Zara a couple of years ago now but I have found these on their website that I think look similar, they also do these in a variety of colours so if you like them that’s you set for jeans!

Now my clutch bag is another one I have shown before, it’s New Look and old stock, so I have found a couple of alternatives for you, one budget friendly, one not so much. So first up is this one from Zara with lovely silver stud detailing which would go with so much in your wardrobe! Next is a beautiful Saint Laurent clutch bag with the classic YSL logo 🤤 she is a beauty but definitely a treat item and probably more expensive then everything I have linked on this page put together 😂.

Lastly my boots! I love these boots and bring them out every winter. You can’t see in detail from this picture but they have some embroidered detailing on the side of them in pink and blue. I have really struggled to find similar, not the best time of year to be looking for a specific type of boot! So I just focused on finding some with a bit of different detailing and I found these with a tortoiseshell heel on the John Lewis page that I thought were lovely and a little bit different.

That’s it for my white shirt styling blog, I hope you have enjoyed and got some outfit inspiration for your own white shirts! Next week I am going to be focusing on blazers, looking at a selection of mine! I hope you will join me!

Again thanks for reading, see you next week!
