Hello! I’m Katy and welcome to my blog.

A little bit about me.

I live in the beautiful Devon in a little village sandwiched between the moors and the seaside with my boyfriend Graham, our Cat Ernie, dog Theo and Baby the tortoise 🐢. I work as a Business Intelligence Lead which people tell me sounds like I work in MI5 or something! I can assure you it’s nothing that exciting, it involves a lot of spreadsheets and data analysis.

In my spare time, I enjoy shopping (hence the blog!), long walks with the dog and film nights! I also have discovered a love for true crime podcasts whilst I’m been working from home this last year, although not too true crimey or I end up scaring myself! Theo and I also go to agility classes, not the typical dog sport for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! But he loves it and is actually pretty speedy!

I have always had a big love for fashion but have never really known what to do with it, other then spend my money on clothes! I toyed with the idea of going to Fashion college but I knew I didn’t have the design skills to make it work, so my work life went down a different route. This last year in lockdown I have rediscovered my love of all things fashion, at the start of lockdown I was living in Loungewear, like everyone was, and one day I just thought (probably the day I realised I was dressed to match my dog!) my actual clothes deserved to be worn again! I actually feel so much better getting dressed for work even if it’s just to go to my desk in the lounge! So this blog is just a way to express my love of fashion in a different way, I hope you enjoy!

I have a few blogs in mind, starting with my ways to wear converse one which has just been uploaded, shopping small businesses, my weekly outfits, shop your wardrobe etc. But I am open to ideas, let me know if you have anything you want to see! (I’m probably talking to like one person reading this blog 😂 but hey ho!)
